The challenge was to create a brand for a potential reality television show. Three men had the dream of taking a canoe trip all of the way up the Mississippi River. While traveling the river they would make stops at important locations and interview interesting people while discussing important modern social topics.
The brand was simple to create. Something colorful, kind of grungy. Then I had to jump straight to creating a poster an event poster. A football party was hosted, ice cream was served, and participant were encouraged to message Ellen Degeneres in the hopes that she would respond and make their television show a reality.
In the end their campaign was unsuccessful, but I heard that they still made the voyage on their own the following summer.
